The Hudson Valley Ronald McDonald House just got a major facelift, and it didn't cost the nonprofit a dime.
The nonprofit unveiled its new playroom, kitchen and break room to mark its 10-year anniversary.
All three shared spaces were completely renovated this month.
To make it even more special, all of the labor, materials and beautiful details were 100% donated by community members and three designer companies.
Denise Davies and Karri Bowen-Poole, the co-founders of Smart D2 Playrooms and the designers of the playground, say they are so happy to help and hope what they've done puts a smile on children's faces.
Michael Heaton, whose son Xander has cancer, says the new kitchen is helping families drowning in medical costs save where they can and make meals they actually enjoy.
You can contribute to the Ronald McDonald House by donating money, toiletries, food and cleaning supplies.
