Schools across the nation are expected to be back in session tomorrow after a TikTok threat pushed districts to take precautions, including in the Hudson Valley.
The viral post called on students to commit acts of violence and named this past Friday, "National Shoot Up Your School Day."
No specific districts were named in the threat, but schools in Peekskill, Poughkeepsie, Rye and others decided to go remote or close entirely.
Parents told News 12 they felt confident their kids would be safe.
The Department of Homeland Security says they are aware of the threats and are investigating.
