The Restdale Park Pet Cemetery in Chester is the final resting place to a number of cherished pets, but for years, the cemetery has been left in disrepair.
The Humane Society says it is now looking to clean up the park and restore it to its former glory. The group wants to clean the property, remove overgrown trees and preserve the gravestones.
The cemetery, which may be one of the oldest in the nation, is believed to be the final resting place of such famous animal actors as ?Toto? from ?The Wizard of Oz? and ?King,? who was the MGM lion.
The Humane Society is still in need of funding and volunteers to complete to project.
