Hundreds gathered in Rye Saturday night to fight all forms of cancer at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Light the Night" walk.
The annual event drew survivors, supporters, friends and family members to Rye Playland.
Each carried lanterns of different colors that represented different stages in battling the disease.
White lanterns represented survivors and hope for the future. Red lanterns were carried by supporters and gold lanterns represented the memory of lost loved ones.
News 12 Investigative Reporter Tara Rosenblum and her daughter shared the honor of hosting the event.
