Hundreds of people participated in the 2023 American Heart Association's Westchester Heart Walk over the weekend at Kensico Dam.

This year's heart walk focused on the theme "I Walk to Save Lives."

The Centers for Disease Controland Prevention says heart disease remains the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. Attendees not only had the opportunity to receive CPR training but also engaged in warmup exercises before embarking on the walk.
