2 escape house fire in Campbell Hall; hospitalized with serious burns

Campbell Hall fire officials say a man and woman in their 50s had to be rescued from their front porch at 19 Overlook Place where they collapsed due to the seriousness of their injuries.

A house fire Monday morning in Campbell Hall left two people with serious burns.
Campbell Hall fire officials say a man and woman in their 50s had to be rescued from their front porch at 19 Overlook Place where they collapsed due to the seriousness of their injuries.
News 12 saw several neighbors walking by to see what happened.
"We are indeed praying for the homeowners and for a fast recovery from their burns,” said one woman. 
News 12 is told the fire started when the two people were asleep around 4:30 a.m. 
Authorities say the victims were airlifted to the hospital.
Orange County fire investigators say two firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
State police are investigating and the cause is not yet known.
