In Yonkers, several people were taken into custody by immigration agents as part of a federal operation.

Mayor Mike Spano posted on social media Monday, saying the Yonkers Police Department was not involved.

Spano said the operation is over and there is no cause for concern.

News 12 has reached out to ICE for more information and is awaiting a response.
