An iconic Westchester businessman is sharing his secrets of success in a new book.

Joseph Armentano is the CEO of Paraco Gas, a local family-owned company that just celebrated 53 years in business.

He is also the author of a new book titled "A Helluva Ride. How a father-son family business overcame crisis to achieve the American Dream."

Armentano told News 12 he spent 12 years writing a memoir that is largely based on the lessons of leadership and entrepreneurship passed down from his late father, Pat.

Armentano grew up in Mount Vernon and is donating part of the book's proceeds to the Mount Vernon Boys and Girls Club. You can purchase his book at Barnes & Noble or on Amazon.
