Iona College in New Rochelle is now expanding with a new speech clinic.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday for Iona's new speech, language and hearing clinic that officially opened in August. The clinic is being housed in the old Holy Family Elementary School building on Clove Road.

The clinic's director Maria Armiento, says the clinic will allow people to get the help they need, without being hounded by insurance companies.

News 12 is told Iona's new clinic offers speech services to both children and adults.
