A road in Westchester is closed this morning after a section caved in following a water main break in Irvington.
Officials says the break originally happened earlier this month on Hudson West Road.
We’re told that the break was fixed immediately and that is not impacting nearby residents.
However, the road is closed off for a second time.
DPW officials say crews found soil erosion underground, causing part of the road to cave in.
That roadway is still closed from the Ardsley train station to Clifton Place.
We’re told the latest problem is expected to be fixed today.
