Basketball star Donovan Mitchell returned home to Westchester to give back to
the neighborhood he grew up in.
The Utah Jazz guard attended a special ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony
in Dobbs Ferry at The Children’s Village.
Mitchell and his family refurbished the outdoor basketball courts at the
residential foster care campus.
Mitchell’s mother, who manages his charity foundation, spent much of her
childhood growing up at The Children’s Village.
The Mitchell family worked alongside local artists to design and paint the
courts.
