JCC's Rockland's International Film Festival to open with 'Remembering Gene Wilder' documentary

The festival will run from next Thursday through April 18 at the Regal Cinema in Nanuet.

One of the original writers and performers on Saturday Night Live is teaming up with other well-known artists to promote one of the largest cultural events in the tri-state.
Alan Zweibel has signed on to take part in JCC's Rockland's International Film Festival that is kicking off its 21st season next week.
The event's mission this year is to utilize the power of cinema to foster cultural understanding and enrichment, and will feature 12 award-winning films.
Zweibel will be joined by director Ron Frank on opening night to introduce the documentary, "Remembering Gene Wilder."
"For me, it's more personal. Gilda Radner was was godmother of our three children so we were very close with Gene and they were a part of our lives, so when this documentary was being made and they asked me to be in it and they asked my wife to be in it, we it we jumped at opportunity," he says.
The festival will run from next Thursday through April 18 at the Regal Cinema in Nanuet.
