Jersey Proud: Highland girl tops last year's donations by collecting 513 pounds of food

A Highland girl with a big heart is at it again to help local food pantries and this time she beat out her goal from last year.
When Lily Ann Reeves turned 8 years old, she decided instead of getting presents that she would give food to a local food pantry. She donated 400 pounds of food.
For the last few weeks, she has been collecting donations to help out Fulfill of Monmouth and Ocean County. She ended up collecting 513 pounds of food, good enough for 428 meals.
