? The John F. Kennedy boys? volleyball team took on Newcomers Thursday for three matches and a shot at the PSAL city title.
The JFK Knights and Newcomers put on a good game for spectators in the packed stands. The teams engaged in a back-and-forth battle, but Kennedy pulled ahead when the game was tied at 10. The Knights took game one. In the second game, the Knights were up 24-15 and won again.
For the third time in the last 10 years, JFK reigned over the competition and walked off the court as city champs in volleyball.
