Man who climbed famous Seaside Heights ride in protest safety down, in police custodyA man who climbed up a famous ride on Casino Pier in Seaside Heights in protest this morning is now safely off the tower and in the custody of state police. The man, identified as Chris Angulo, climbed the Skyscraper ride and spent around four hours on top of the ride.
Police: Bridgeport teen critically burned while playing on top of train car : A 16-year-old boy was critically burned while standing on top of a parked train in Bridgeport Monday, police say. The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. near Barnum School on Waterview Avenue by Seaview Avenue. Officials say a teen called 911 to report that his friend had been injured in an explosion near the trains.
Flatbush man creates social justice street wear inspired by George FloydA Brooklyn man is making a statement by launching a new line of street wear.Flatbush resident Chad Williams designed a T-shirt laying out the laws of the Minneapolis Police Department which he says shows the errors in the death of George Floyd. Williams handed out the T-shirts which lay out the Minneapolis Police Department’s use of force regulations that he says many police departments follow.
Fireworks eyed as cause of Yonkers fire that destroyed building; multiple firefighters injuredCrews battled a fire that destroyed a three-story building in Yonkers Saturday night, and authorities say fireworks might have been to blame. Firefighters rushed to the scene on Stanley Avenue around 9:30 p.m. A total of 12 firefighters were injured, and six families were left homeless, authorities say.
Police: Baldwin woman killed in tubing accident at Parsonage Cove:  Police say a young woman from Baldwin was killed in a boating accident off Oceanside on Sunday. Police say 26-year-old Sabina Singh died around 5:30 p.m. while tubing in Parsonage Cove. Detectives tell News 12 she was being pulled by a boat when she collided with a bulkhead of Middle Bay Country Club.
