For the second day, jurors heard police interviews with Michelle Troconis days after Jennifer Dulos went missing, as her family proclaimed her innocence.

While Troconis' sister insists she was not involved in Jennifer Dulos' murder, her interviews suggest otherwise.

Jurors heard Troconis' second interview with detectives, conducted four days after her initial interview.

Initially, Troconis said Fotis Dulos was with her the morning Jennifer Dulos disappeared.

But in her second interview, Troconis walked that back.

"Well, I said, I believe he was. But now that you tell me he wasn't, he wasn't," says Troconis.

During the same interview, Troconis talked about the trip previously shown to jurors where Fotis Dulos was seen throwing away several items along Albany Avenue in Hartford.

Police later found bloody items connected to Jennifer Dulos in trash cans.

Troconis told investigators she was not aware of what was happening during the trip and that Fotis Dulos ensured her nothing was wrong.

"He said 'Relax, relax, everything is fine. It's just a few minutes.' I was on the phone. I was texting. I was texting, talking, so it's not like I was looking around," says Troconis

Troconis' sister is adamant prosecutors are going after the wrong person.

"I know that everyone wants answers, but my sister is not the right answer. She doesn't know anything. She's innocent," says Claudia Troconis.

To prove Troconis helped plan the murder, police asked her if she shaved Fotis Dulos' head to conceal his identity.

She responded that she did shave his head.

The interview also shows police caught Troconis in another apparent lie about Fotis Dulos' phone.

John Kimball, a former state police detective, told prosecutors Troconis indicated that his phone was in the office of the Fore Group and she answered it.

At one point in her interview, Troconis suggested that Jennifer Dulos was still alive and could have vanished on her own similar to the movie "Gone Girl."

One aspect of Troconis' story that remains constant is that she does not know what happened to Jennifer Dulos but believes she will take the fall for Fotis Dulos.

"I'm worried that I have a daughter and I'm going to be in jail forever," says Troconis

Troconis faces up to 20 years in prison.

Fotis Dulos died by suicide in January 2020 shortly after being charged with murder.
