A West Haverstraw man was found guilty Tuesday of mistreating hundreds of animals.

A jury took one hour and 20 minutes to find Robert Everle guilty of 13 counts of animal cruelty. Prosecutors had argued that Everle mistreated more than 300 animals and called his property "the zoo from hell."

Everle faces up to two years in prison, fines and could lose his animals when he is sentenced in August.
