New Rochelle's New Roc City continued its tradition of a day-time New Year's celebration for kids.
The free event began early Wednesday morning and included a big balloon drop, games, clowns and activities for the whole family.
One parent who attended the event told News 12 that she thinks the celebration is a great way for children and their families to enjoy New Year's together during the day, so that the adults can party at night.
