Cannabis prices in the Hudson Valley have dropped to an average of $31.75 per unit, according to state officials.

The Office of Cannabis Management says that figure is about average for New York.

Long Island is the most expensive at more than $41 per unit. Western New York has the lowest prices at just over $26.

Officials say falling prices are undercutting the illegal market.
