Legoland New York is about to unveil a new attraction and a new character.
Legoland employees and their kids got to try out the new Lego City Water Playground before it opens this Memorial Day weekend.
They checked out the slides, built and raced LEGO boats, and got soaked by the 318-gallon water bucket.
The public-relations manager tells News 12 that Legoland is always adding to its parks during off-seasons.
"This attraction was among the first new attractions that we're adding because we listened to all our guests. We always read every piece of feedback that comes our way. We knew what people wanted was a place to cool off," says Matt Besterman, Legoland public relations manager.
They'll be celebrating the new water playground all weekend, with party hosts Slidin' Ryan and Matty Splash - who are going to introduce Legoland's newest character, Shark Suit Guy.
