Lehman College took on Baruch in a key Division III CUNY match up in men's basketball.

Coach Ray Rankis' Bearcats were picked to finish first in conference play, but Lehman head coach Steve Schulman hoped for an upset. The Lightning struck first and took a 10-point lead into halftime. The Bearcats clawed their way back, but in the end Lehman proved to be too much for Baruch.

Lehman went on to win by a score of 77-65.
