9 streaming platforms to watch Broadway shows from the comfort of your home
While Broadway shows have been temporarily canceled during the coronavirus outbreak, fans can do the next best thing – watch them at home!
Netflix offers a bunch of movie adaptions plus live performances of various Broadway shows.  Shows includes “Shrek the Musical,” “Rent,” “Grease,” “Hello Dolly!,” “Hairspray,” “Cinderella,” “White Christmas” and “Springsteen on Broadway.” It also offers a bunch of live musical concerts, including Celine Dion, ZZ Top, Taylor Swift and The Rolling Stones.
Hulu offers movie adaptions of “Chicago,” “Hello Dolly,” “Mamma Mia!,” “The Producers” and “West Side Story” among others. 
Your best bet to see live performances would be on Amazon Prime and BroadwayHD.  Some offerings include “Rent Live on Broadway,” “Les Misérables,” “Miss Saigon” 25 anniversary, “Newsies,” “Pippin,” “Cats,” “Company,” "Falsettos," “Nicholas Nickleby,” “Kiss Me Kate, “She Loves Me,” along with many others.  Off Broadway shows are also included like “Puffs: The Musical.
PBS offers a host of great live performances.  Shows include “Kinky Boots,” “Much Ado About Nothing,” “Reds,” “She Loves Me,” Noel Coward’s “Present Laughter,” “Indecent,” Irving Berlin’s “Holiday Inn,” “An American in Paris,” “Sound of Music,” “John Leguizamo’s “Road To Broadway,” “42 Street,” “The King and I” and “A Raisin in the Sun."
PBS also offers great live musical concert performances by Billie Eilish and John Fogerty, Dave Chappelle, Journey, Paul Simon, Prince and Queen.
Hoopla digital media service works with your local library, and allows people to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on their computer, tablet, or phone and TV. Titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later. 
Google Play offers a variety of shows including live versions of "Rent," "Newsies," "Christmas Story" and "Puffs: The Musical."
YouTube offers a variety of live performances to rent, including "Rent," "Sponge Bob Musical: Live on Stage" and "American Idiot."
Also on YouTube, The Shows Must Go On! channel is offering full-length performances every Friday for 48 hours (24 hours in the U.K.)
iTunes provides a variety of live Broadway performances to purchase including "Rent,"" Newsies," "Puffs" and "Stomp."
Vudu offers "Newsies," "Rent," "Puffs," "Memphis," "The Wiz" and "Billy Elliot." Musical performances include Bjork, Lewis Black, Coldplay, Bad Co., ZZ Top, Megadeath, Phil Collins and Alice Cooper.
