Local businesses say they are cashing in on this year's Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show continuing in Tarrytown this week. 

Monday was the third day of the event, and tens of thousands of people are expected to be in the area for the show - which means financial opportunities for local businesses.

Main Street in Tarrytown and Beekman Avenue in Sleepy Hollow have been busier with the influx of foot traffic.

Some places that are normally closed on Mondays and Tuesdays opened to welcome customers from this event.

"We like the out-of-towners just to come for the day and spend their money. It's really great for our businesses," says Laura Rey Iannarelli the President of Sleepy Hallow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce.
