News 12 is told someone on the street saw the mother duck walking outside of the storm drain, that's when she heard tweets and quacks coming from inside - and decided to call for help.
The career Long Beach firefighters, and an animal control officer were able to rescue the ducklings without any problems, and just in time for the town's Memorial Day parade.
