Long Island man killed in wrong-way crash on Hutchinson River Parkway

A Long Island man was killed in a wrong-way crash Sunday morning on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Westchester
County police say Joel Jiminez, 34, of Wyandanch, was driving a Prius when he took a wrong turn off Webster Avenue and slammed into a Cadillac SUV.
He was pronounced dead at Westchester Medical Center.
The two-car collision shut down the northbound lanes in New Rochelle for hours. People in the other vehicle had minor injuries.
Residents say confusing road signs make the area prone to accidents.
“I always see people confused when they’re entering. They’re not sure where they got to go. Especially if they’re trying to get back into the neighborhood," says David Sleeper, of New Rochelle.
Officials say the crash does not appear suspicious
