Drivers are catching a break at the gas pump this summer.
A Lundberg survey says that in the last two weeks, the average price of regular gasoline in the U.S. dipped almost 6 cents a gallon.
The average national price for a gallon of regular gas is now $3.52. The average price for mid-grade and premium are $3.83 and $3.88, respectively.
In the New York Metro area, the AAA national average is also lower. 
The average fuel price in New York is at $3.88 for regular gas, which is down from about $4.05 a month ago.
The survey also indicated that the average U.S. price for regular grade gasoline dropped 19 cents over the past seven weeks.
