Multiple people were arrested following a violent assault involving machetes in downtown Port Chester Tuesday night.
Reports first came in around 10 p.m. in the area of 2 Waterfront Place.
Officials said multiple groups were involved in the confrontation.
Authorities said some of the victims suffered cuts to their faces.
Police recovered multiple machetes at the scene.
All suspects were detained at the location, according to Port Chester police.
The area was later cleared and the investigation was turned over to MTA police.
