What began as a father's desire to provide healthier food for his family has grown into one of the Hudson Valley's leading advocates for locally grown grains and traditional milling.

Wild Hive Farm in Clinton Corners combines sustainable farming practices with an ancient stone-milling process to produce fresh flour sourced largely from regional growers.

Founder Don Lewis, a former commercial beekeeper, discovered the Hudson Valley's rich grain-producing history and saw an opportunity to reconnect the region with its agricultural roots.

Today, the farm processes a variety of grains, including wheat and corn, using large granite millstones.

The traditional stone-milling process helps preserve flavor and nutrition while creating the smooth texture the farm is known for.

By focusing on freshness and regional sourcing rather than large-scale commodity production, Wild Hive Farm has built a business centered on quality, sustainability and community.

From grain deliveries and milling to packaging and shipping, the operation is dedicated to preserving agricultural traditions for future generations.
