HEADLINES:
- Measurable rain has finally arriving for the Hudson Valley. A range of 0.25 to 0.5 inches of rainfall is expected by Monday morning.
- Any rain will end early Monday morning but it will remain breezy with skies opening up to some sunshine in the afternoon.
- Temperatures will be in the upper-60s for Veteran's Day but temperatures in the 50s are expected for the rest of the week.
Fire weather and hazy skies were an issue for the Hudson Valley Sunday afternoon. The rain will overspread across the region overnight into Monday, morning promising measurable rain for the first time in several weeks. It will remain a bit breezy through Monday.
Veteran's Day will start off with rain which will end in the morning. Some breezy conditions are expected in the afternoon as skies clear by mid-morning. Temperatures will spike into the upper-60s. Then, a cold front will come Monday night with breezy winds ahead dropping temperatures to the 50s through much of the week.
FORECAST
OVERNIGHT: Rain and breezy. It will be milder than normal, low temperatures in the low- to mid-50s.
MONDAY -- VETERAN'S DAY: Any rain will end before sunrise. Otherwise, clear skies with breezy and milder conditions and sunshine throughout the afternoon. Highs in the upper-60s. Lows in the mid-40s.
TUESDAY: Sun and clouds with much chillier temperatures behind breezy winds. Highs in the mid-50s. Lows in the low-30s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, less wind and near seasonable. Highs near 50 degrees. Lows in the low-30s.
