3 Westchester elementary schools, 1 middle school close after positive coronavirus tests

Several schools in Westchester are closing after multiple positive coronavirus tests.
Woodside Elementary School in Peekskill is moving to virtual learning after a positive case of COVID-19 was reported. The school will remain closed on Friday as contact tracing begins.
Peekskill Middle School is also closed due to possible close contact with the infected person at the elementary school.
Students at both Peekskill schools are being told to log into their classes remotely.
Mamaroneck Avenue School in the Mamaroneck School District will begin fully remote learning Friday for at least two weeks.
The district shut down in-person learning after a number of new confirmed coronavirus cases at the school.
Post Road Elementary School in White Plains is also switching to remote learning.
The district closed the school to face-to-face learning after a member of the elementary school tested positive for the coronavirus.
Both Mamaroneck Avenue School and Post Road Elementary School will remain virtual until at least Oct. 28.
