A Rockland native continues to be honored for his acts of heroism 20 years after Sept. 11.
Welles Crowther, also known as the man in the red bandana, is being remembered by his alma mater.
Crowther saved as many as 18 people as the towers fell on Sept. 11.
Over the weekend, the Boston College football team honored his life and legacy by wearing uniforms designed like the bandana he wore that day.
Boston College went on to win the game over UMass 45-28.
