The man accused of fatally stabbing a 35-year-old man in a supermarket in 2016 pleaded guilty Wednesday.
Andrew Goodenough admitted to stabbing Michael Kohus at the ShopRite in Vails Gate.
At the time of the attack, the family of Kohus said they knew of no known connection between the two men.
Police maintain at this time that the attack was random and unprovoked.
The Orange County district attorney is recommending 20 years to life in prison for Goodenough.
