Man stabbed multiple times in Mount Vernon

Investigators say the 36-year-old had been stabbed multiple times, he was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in the Bronx and is listed in stable condition.

A man is now recovering after a stabbing attack over the weekend.

Mount Vernon police say they were called to an apartment building at 669 North Terrace Ave. Saturday afternoon.

They arrived to find a man bleeding in front of the apartment building.

Investigators say the 36-year-old had been stabbed multiple times, he was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in the Bronx and is listed in stable condition.

According to detectives, the attack happened inside a third-floor apartment, where they say they found evidence of a crime scene, but police did not release details about what they found.

The detective division is handling the case. They continue to search for a suspect.
