Police identified the man who they believe shoved a woman off a balcony to her death while she held her baby in the Allerton section of the Bronx.
Angel Carrasco, 31, is accused of killing 23-year-old Nathaly Ramirez and wounding her 8-month-old baby girl just after 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The tragic incident happened at Ramirez's apartment building, located at 2550 Olinville Ave., where News 12 cameras captured a growing vigil on Wednesday morning.
Surveillance footage taken around 15 minutes after the crime shows a man wearing a hoodie walking away from the scene and keeping his head down.
Ramirez was pronounced dead at Jacobi Hospital. Her baby was initially listed in critical condition but her status was later updated to stable, according to investigators.
Police released a wanted flier with photos of Carrasco on Wednesday and warned the public that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
The NYPD confirms that the incident was domestic in nature but did not provide details on the relationship between Carrasco and the two victims.
