Man wanted for cash robbery spree at NYCHA complexes across the Bronx

Police are searching for the man who they say is responsible for a robbery spree at NYCHA complexes across the Bronx.
The three thefts occurred over the course of one week in mid-September.
Detectives say the man most recently got away with an envelope that contained around $21,000 in cash at the Forest Houses in Morrisania.
Investigators say the spree started on Sept. 12 at around 9 p.m. inside the Morris Houses in Claremont Village. The suspect snatched $878 out of a 49-year-old woman's dog stroller. He then pushed the woman to the ground.
Four days later at around 10 p.m., the man robbed a 17-year-old boy of $40 inside the Monroe Houses in Soundview, according to the NYPD. After the theft, police say the man grabbed the teen and demanded additional property.
The third robbery - where the man got away with the largest amount of cash - happened on Sept. 21 around 5:15 p.m. Police say the man snatched the envelope that held around $21,000 from a 20-year-old man at the Forest Houses. The suspect ran toward Prospect Avenue after the theft, according to the NYPD.
No one was hurt during the three robberies, according to investigators.
