Manhattan DA: Fishkill corrections officer sold cocaine out of his NYC apartment

A corrections officer at the Fishkill Correctional Facility has been indicted for allegedly selling drugs in New York City.
The Manhattan district attorney announced Thursday that 47-year-old Alex Toro has been selling cocaine out of his East Harlem apartment.
The DA says Toro has undermined faith in the criminal justice system.
He also says Toro arranged four separate cocaine purchases with an undercover NYPD officer from early August to early September.
Toro is also said to sometimes organize the transactions while at work.
Investigators say they searched his apartment Wednesday and found over 1,000 grams of cocaine with a street value of $40,000, a gun and about $8,000 in cash.
