The National Weather Service has designated March 15-19 as Flood Safety Awareness Week 2021.
Flooding occurs throughout the year across the United States. It causes more damage in the United States than any other weather-related event. On average, floods cause $8 billion in damages and 89 fatalities annually. Now is the time to prepare our communities.
