Briarcliff Manor.
Over
100 golfers braved high temperatures to honor the late veteran
from West Harrison. Lemm died in Afghanistan in 2015.
Former Knicks
star John Starks and former Jets
quarterback Boomer Esiason were among
the guests.
“No matter how many putts you miss or how
many drives you may hit, there's nothing like missing a family member
especially a hero like Joe,” said
Esiason. “He just wanted the world to be a better place for all of us. He
wanted to keep us safe and there are many men and women who wear the uniform
that do that and it's one of the reasons you come out for things like this.”
