Memorial marks 1 year since starvation death of Newburgh boy

This week marks one year since the starvation death of a 7-year-old boy from Newburgh.
Peter Cuacuas weighed only 37 pounds at the time of his death.
His father pleaded guilty last week to criminally negligent homicide.
Prosecutors say the father's girlfriend was the boy's main caretaker. She is charged with murder.
A memorial was held Thursday night outside the Cuacuas home on William Street.
