Mets fans are gearing up to return to Citi Field Thursday for the home opener against the Marlins.
The afternoon game will be the first one in front of hometown fans in more than a year.
Some changes include capacity capped at 20% due to coronavirus restrictions. That means only about 8,000 fans will be allowed into the stadium.
Fans must also have either proof of a negative COVID-19 test or that they are fully vaccinated.
Masks and social distancing are also required.
