Members of a Middletown family say mold growing in their condo is making them sick.
Felicia Cheathem, who lives with her family in the Buttonwood Hills Condominiums, says there is mold growing in the bedrooms of her condo.
Cheathem claims the mold is now making her family sick with symptoms such as coughing, runny noses, water eyes and asthma.
The head of River Management says the Buttonwood Condominium Association was awarded a $350,000 loan to make repairs, including sealing and waterproofing the building.
The condominium?s president and CEO, Mark Raphael, says work on the building should begin within 30-60 days and that after it is completed, there should be no water infiltrating the interior of the building.
In the meantime, Cheathem says she's been considering renting another home just to get away from the mold.
