The Middletown fire department has been awarded $75,000 in grant funding.
State Sen. James Skoufis announced the grant to provide the fire department with access to critical training equipment.
This investment facilitated the acquisition of a state-of-the-art burn simulator, enabling firefighters to practice scenarios in a controlled environment.
The simulator will also be available for training first responders beyond Middletown, extending its resources across Orange County.
