Minivan plunges into Goshen swamp on Route 17

Dennis Pinot told News 12 he lost control when he hit flood waters in the area. He was the only person in the vehicle and sustained no injuries during the incident.

A driver lost control of his minivan Saturday on Route 17 and plunged into a swamp in Goshen.
Dennis Pinot told News 12 he lost control when he hit flood waters in the area. He was the only person in the vehicle and sustained no injuries during the incident.
"I felt really scared in that moment, but thank God nothing happened,” he said. “I’m OK."
Route 17 was narrowed to one lane in each direction Saturday while crews worked to drain the flooded roads.
