375ds agoClarkstown police say a man who went missing Tuesday was found Wednesday yelling for help in a heavily wooded area along the Nyack Beach trail.
New York State Park rangers arrived on the scene along with Rockland medics and located the man in steep, rough terrain.
The man is identified as Mandeep Tiwana, who went missing from his home in Upper Nyack.
The Nyack Fire Department High Angle Rescue team was called in to help rescue Tiwana by using a basket to safely evacuate him from the area.
Tiwana was transported to Montefiore Nyack Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
