News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says there will be moderate air quality on Friday for the Hudson Valley along with a mix of sun and clouds and warm temperatures.
WHAT'S NEW: An Air Quality Alert has been extended through all day Friday until midnight. While air quality will be running a little poor for the next day and a half, expect to see some smoky/hazy skies with a concern for those with breathing and heart issues as they should take it easy doing any strenuous activity outside.
WHAT'S NEXT: Rain chances are very low to none through Friday. Then they start to go up through the weekend. A chance for showers and storms is around for Sunday and Monday with the threat of some spotty showers for July 4.
