A mother accused of driving her son and a friend home from the Palisades Center while drunk posted bail Monday night.

Police say Kristien Forrucci took her 12-year-old son and the 11-year-old friend to Dave and Busters arcade Saturday night. The boys later told police Forrucci was there drinking a brown beverage with fruit in it.

Forrucci then drove the children home. The boys told police they were scared for their lives during the ride home. Forrucci was allegedly weaving into oncoming traffic. The boys were not harmed and she was later arrested in Nanuet.

The father of the 11-year-old says Forrucci called him to ask him to pick up the kids from the mall. He says that when he arrived, they had already left. Forrucci is charged with felony DWI, because she was convicted of drunken driving in 2004. She spent the weekend in jail.
