A father in Monroe has been arrested under Leandra’s Law for allegedly driving while intoxicated, with kids in car.
Ramapo police say the 37-year old driver was pulled over for a traffic violation on Monday, and the officers investigating say the man was impaired by alcohol. His 8-year-old daughter and 3-month-old son were in the vehicle, as well as a 1-year-old child.
He has been charged with three felony counts of DWI with child in vehicle and numerous other charges.
He was released without bail in accordance with NYS Bail Reform and is due back in court in accordance.
