Monroe man accused of speeding, leading police on chase before crash

Police say no one was injured, and Davis was released on an appearance ticket.

A Monroe man is facing several charges after leading police on a chase and causing a crash.     
Police tried to pull over 29-year-old Stetson Davis on Saturday for driving over the speed limit.
They say he left the scene, driving over a sidewalk entering the Heritage Trail walking path.
He crashed into two vehicles.
Police say no one was injured, and Davis was released on an appearance ticket.
He's facing charges for reckless endangerment and possessing stolen property.
He is due back in court next month.
