News 12 is catching up with a local teenage celebrity in Orange County.
She already broke a Guinness World Record behind the wheel, and now Chloe Chambers is gaining in popularity after appearing on "America's Got Talent: Extreme."
The 17-year-old Monroe-Woodbury High School senior is no stranger to the spotlight.
The professional teenage racecar driver appeared this month on the first episode of "America's Got Talent: Extreme," and recreated her Porche vehicle slalom that broke world records in 2020.
"When I was there, I didn't really think about how many people would see it and how much exposure I'd get but after it had been shown, I had so many people in school saying – 'Oh, yeah! I saw you on 'America's Got Talent!'" she says.
Chambers also had a competitive race with the show's superstar judge Simon Cowell.
While she didn't win the $500,000 grand prize, Chloe didn't get any X's and left the show with major props.
She has a busy summer ahead, racing as a Formula 3 driver and in the "World Race League."
