Monroe's Village Hall is about to undergo major repairs.
Mayor Neil Dwyer wrote in a letter to residents that it's been the village's home for 64 years, but needs have changed.
There will be work done inside and out including on flooring, plumbing, and the facade.
In the meantime, the village will move to a temporary building installed behind Village Hall.
The work is expected to continue until mid April.
